The Administrative Decisions Tribunal: Retail Leases Division website explains the types of claims the tribunal will hear, the types of orders it can make, monetary limits, time limits, information on rights to appeal and unconscionable conduct. Judgements are also available.

The NSW Attorney General’s Department website Lawlink NSW contains information on your rights, going to court, case law, and a range of other services. The site has a list of New South Wales Court and Tribunal websites, daily lists, practice collections, forms, and judgements and tribunal decisions.

Retail Leases Act 1994

The Australian Retailers Association provides the retailing industry with information to maintain business success.  You can access information on employee relations, GST issues, government affairs, electronic commerce, tenancy issues and retail consultancy.

The Property Council of Australia represents the interests of the property sector. To access resources such as Property Australia Magazine, customised research and online resources, a property index, sales and leasing search, corporate real estate benchmarking resources, the property research council’s online database, and library catalogue.

The Shopping Centre Council of Australia represents the interests of shopping centre owners and managers.  The SCCA’s website provides information on legislation and regulations affecting the shopping centre industry as well as news and events of interest to the retail sector.

The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales is a professional association for agents and other property professionals in Australia. You can find information on how to search for property, agents, practice support, consumer information, and professional and business development.

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources is an Australian Government department with a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the operating environment for small business, and offers progams to improve efficiency of Australian industry.
